Amsterdam - Saturday, January 8, 2011, the recently deceased Bobby Farrell commemoration. From 12.00 to 14.00, the Boney M. singer honored in the city theatre in Amsterdam. Which is being organized by his daughter whom Is working in collaboration with students learning company Rookie Entertainment in Holland Haarlem.
Bobby Farrell was a colorful person in the 70s and became known for hits such as "Daddy Cool" and "Ma Baker". In subsequent years he grew into being a worldwide Farrell being the most famous person in the disco-pop scene and earned himself the title of 'Disco King' to his acclaim.
This coming Saturday, January 8 will be the last deceased singers final tribute from his family, friends and fans. Among that will be expectation of fellow performer such as George McCrae, Akwasi (Black Light), The Gibson Brothers and the Original three ladies of Boney M. The ladies giving their last tribute by uniting for the first time in over 20 years.
The day will begin with an extensive tour through Amsterdam. With Farrell taking his final lap around the city. After the tour, the memorial in Sptadschouwburg will begin.
The day will be filled with all kinds of performances from all depicts of the life of Bobby Farrell. Here with the differences of emotions will show what a life that this legend had, like, his eccentricity, his eternal smile and his sense of humor.
Not only is his life celebrated by performances of his relatives, the day will also show footage of his fascinating to life. In addition his life story can only be shared to present a picture of what an extraordinary life Bobby Farrell had.
